My name is Amy Ellis.  I am so excited that your child will be in my class this year. To begin with, I'd like to share some information about myself with you all.  I am a mother to 2 daughters.  Kaelie is 23, recently graduated from TN Tech with a Bachelor's in interdisciplinary studies and is working on her Master's Degree.  She currently works as a special education assistant at OES.  Lacey is 7.  She is my strong willed, whirlwind of a daughter.  She will be in 1st Grade this year

I graduated from Scott High School in 1996. I attended Roane State for 2 years before transferring to Lincoln Memorial University.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2003.  I began teaching Kinderstart that same year at OES.  I continued my education at TN Tech University and earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008. I switched to Kindergarten soon after and have been in that position since then. This will be my 18th year at OES!
