My name is Mrs. Lisa. I am married to Vance Gilbert and we have 3 wonderful children: Chance, Melia, and Jewelia! We have added a wonderful daughter-in-law, Jaden and an amazing grandson, Koe!

I am beginning my 24th year as a teacher at Oneida Elementary School! During my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to teach Pre-K, Kinderstart, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I find my passion teaching Early Childhood Education!

I attended Scott High School, and soon after graduated from Cumberland College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Later, I returned to Cumberland College to complete my masters. Finally, I obtained my Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Curriculum and Instruction.

A day in my life outside of the classroom could include: spending time with my kids, working outside on our miniature farm (goats, chickens, and cats, oh my!), testing out Pinterest recipes (for the most part edible), and enjoying Tennessee Basketball

Tools your child should need in order to succeed throughout the rest of the school year will be linked on Google Classroom! If you happen to have trouble finding something or need help at anytime, please do not hesitate to reach out! Thank you for allowing your child to attend Oneida Elementary School and Go Indians!
