I was born and raised in Scott County and have lived here all of my life.  After graduating from Oneida High School, I continued my education at Roane State.  I then graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education 1st - 8th grade.  I have taught elementary school for 21 years.  I am married and have five grown children and three awesome grandchildren.  I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and doing needlepoint.
