About Me

I graduated from a small high school in Indiana. I have been married to my husband, Bo since 2011. We have one daughter, Piper, and two pets: a cat and a dog. I graduated from the University of the Cumberlands with my Bachelor's of Music Education in 2010 and my Master of Arts in Teaching for Special Education in 2014. I also received my Gifted certification from Johnson University in 2020.

I taught music for about 6 months in Oneida in 2010-2011. I am currently teaching in my 8th consecutive year here at Oneida.

I can teach multiple areas including special education, music education, and gifted education; however, my current focus is gifted education.

I teach the EXPLORE programs. I teach at all three schools. I also have two after-school clubs EXPLORE Club, where we focus on enrichment activities, and Clover Bowl, which is a 4-H competition group. We have made it to Regional Competition in Knoxville, TN the last two years!

I teach all the way from 1st to 12th grade, so I have a wide range of media in my collection at OSSD. Please feel free to use the link to see what I have available for students to use.
